Reservations open on October 8 for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge at Walt Disney World Resort. This comes before the new resort opens its doors next summer. As Walt Disney World celebrates its 55th anniversary, it has also given a first look at Branch & Brush, along with another look at the beautiful lobby. Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be a celebration of nature when it opens.
The lobby for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer stunning views of nature with its floor-to-ceiling windows. This truly allows guests to celebrate and appreciate nature from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart. The magic of nature and Disney will be on full display in this lobby.
This space will draw inspiration from the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas. Today it was announced that there will be a shimmering fiberoptic river illuminating the floor. It will flow around a custom bronze centerpiece that has been designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.
There will also be many familiar friends from decades of Disney animated storytellers to find etched into the design. Overhead, the blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended glass leaves will add movement, color, and wonder to the space.

The heart of the lounge will feature a captivating color-changing chandelier. This will bring the beauty of all four seasons to life. It will also help create an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy as they rest after a day of fun at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
