Disneyland Rain

Hurricane Marie Provides A Rainy Day at the Disneyland Resort

Hurricane Marie might not have made an impact on Southern California over the weekend; however, the effects were surely felt. On the coast, massive waves pummeled beaches, breakwaters, and even beach houses. Further inland, Marie’s effects could be felt as rain came down. This was what was experienced by guests visiting the Disneyland Resort on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The Daps Magic team stopped by the Happiest Place on Earth on Sunday to enjoy a magical day in the rain. While often this could mean going from inside attraction to another covered attraction, this time it was all about embracing the rain. The team took videos and photos of the rain coming down on this magical place. It really was a lot of fun, albeit very wet. Below are a few photos that were taken throughout the rainy day at the Disneyland Resort.

As the afternoon turned into evening, guests for the Oogie Boogie Bash began to stream into Disney California Adventure. As the partygoers filled Disney California Adventure and the day guests moved into Disneyland, the Daps Magic team said goodbye to avoid the crowds.
