The Disneyland Railroad Grand Canyon diorama has reopened at Disneyland. This comes just weeks after the Primeval World diorama reopened. Now, the Disneyland Railroad will steam by Disneyland Resort’s recreation of the Grand Canyon of today and yesterday. The reopening of both eras looks beautiful and will surely be embraced by Disney fans who take a trip on the rails to see them.
Friends of Daps Magic, Mike and Matt, stopped by the Disneyland Resort for a ride around The Happiest Place on Earth on Friday and took photos and video of the reopened Grand Canyon diorama. It is quite evident that this portion of the attraction, just like Primeval World, now looks better than ever! Check it out here:
The Grand Canyon diorama is a 306-foot-long display, the world’s longest diorama. It recreates the South Rim of the Grand Canyon as it was seen in the 1958 Disney short film Grand Canyon. It is accompanied by Ferde Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite. Following the Grand Canyon diorama, the Disneyland Railroad continues to the Primeval World diorama. Video of this can be seen here:
