On the second day of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Horizons: A Carousel of Progress offered updates and new surprises to fans who attended the Disney Experiences Showcase at the Honda Center in the Evening. This included the announcement of a new Tomorrowland for Disneyland, a new adventure for Figment and Dreamfinder, and a whole lot more.
One of the more popular announcements surrounded the return of three popular entertainment offerings for the Disneyland Resort. This includes two nighttime spectaculars and one daytime parade. This comes as Disney recognized how much fans love these offerings. During Horizons, the following was announced.
Remember… Dreams Come True
Remember… Dreams Come True first debuted during Disneyland’s 50th anniversary. In February 2027, a refreshed version of the nighttime spectacular will return to light up the night at Disneyland. The updated version of this show will include new projections at the Rivers of America, the facade of it’s a small world, and along Main Street, U.S.A.
Once again, Julie Andrews will narrate this fantastic show, which will feature nightly projections and fireworks on select nights.
Original World of Color
Also announced was that there will be an updated take on the original World of Color returning to Disney California Adventure. This show first debuted in 2010. This will also return in February 2027.

This version of the show takes you on an imaginative journey into the colorful worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios like The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, as well as Pixar Animation Studios stories Finding Nemo and Toy Story. Helping to tie it all together is a musical score that includes a special arrangement of the 1960s television theme for Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.
Magic Happens
Magic Happens first debuted in 2020, just weeks before the park closed. In the summer of 2027, this energetic parade will be returning to Disneyland. Mickey Mouse will again lead this parade with vibrant floats, artistic costumes, and imaginative music. This energetic parade also has many connections with classic Disney stories that connect with fans of all ages!
