This 4th of July, the United States of America will be celebrating its 250th anniversary. Because of this milestone, the country is celebrating in many different ways. This includes special entertainment, decorations, food and beverages, the arrival of Soarin’ Across America at the domestic parks, and more. Today, it was revealed that there will be a flyover by U.S. Air Force planes on the morning of the 4th of July. The following was shared by Disney about this flyover:
As part of Disney Celebrates America’s 250th anniversary and our longstanding commitment to honoring U.S. service members and their families, a flyover by the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s 920 Rescue Wing from Patrick Space Force Base is planned for July 4, weather depending. The flyover will take place above Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom at approximately 10:30 a.m., and EPCOT shortly after.
We are honored to recognized the military heroes who have served our nation since 1776, continuing a Disney legacy of support dating back to founders Walt and Roy O. Disney.
Neighbors and Resort Guests near Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios should expect increased noise during the flyover.
