Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby will be opening soon in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. When it opens, it will join the Earl of Sandwich, which recently opened, on the West End of Downtown Disney. Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is located above Earl of Sandwich and has been eagerly anticipated by both locals and vacationers alike since it was announced.
Ahead of the opening, the Disneyland Resort has shared a first look at Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. This looks at what people will get to experience when they dine at this new restaurant at the Disneyland Resort. When it opens, guests will be able to experience classic British fare. This includes Chef Ramsay’s legendary beef Wellington and a decadent sticky toffee pudding. Take a look at what is to come here:
As can be seen in the photos, this will be a lovely place to dine with delicious food and a beautiful view of Downtown Disney and the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage. When it was announced, Chef Ramsay talked about the concept for this gastropub. “All eyes were on London in the 1960s, a full on fantastic technicolour scene of people going out and having fun. We are bringing those cool vibes to Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby,” Chef Ramsay said. “Stunning interiors, incredible food and great music, whether it’s date night or dinner with friends or family, The Carnaby is going to bring the very best of cool Britannia to Downtown Disney District.”
Earlier this spring, Chef Ramsay joined former Disneyland Resort President and now Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum and Mickey Mouse to unveil the sign for Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. Once open, select evenings will see the restaurant come to life with live music. This music will keep the evening swinging with the themed performances continuing the ’60s vibes. This will make for a perfect destination for dinner and an evening on the town.
This new restaurant will join other new delicious dining options that have arrived in the area recently. This includes:
- Happy Ice – Philadelphia-style Italian ice that offers a refreshing and delicious treat!
- Big Boi Lumpia – Filipino flavors, including crispy lumpia (savory or sweet) and refreshing juices!
- Earl of Sandwich – A delicious sandwich shop with freshly baked sandwiches on artisan breads, soups, salads, sides, breakfast items, and desserts. This is a classic in the Downtown Disney District with a beautiful new home!
These locations are all a part of the transformation of the Downtown Disney District. This has seen new restaurants like Din Tai Fung, Centrica, Paseo, Tiendita, and others open. Others have been refurbished and reimagined. On top of that, there are also new shopping destinations for guests to enjoy as well.
The transformation isn’t complete, however. Work continues on Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, and the highly anticipated Porto’s Bakery & Cafe. Daps Magic will continue to monitor the progress on all of these new venues and provide updates as they become available.
