Pixar Goes Live on Instagram with Toy Story 5 Characters Watching Taylor Swift Countdown

Things continue to get more exciting for Toy Story 5 and Taylor Swift fans. After a countdown began earlier this morning on Taylor Swift’s website, Pixar has now taken to Instagram with a live video. In it, the Toy Story toys can be seen watching the countdown on Taylor Swift’s website. This went live about an hour before the end of the countdown!

What is at the end of the countdown is anyone’s guess at this point. All of this comes ahead of the arrival of Toy Story 5 in theaters on June 19, 2026. Here is the livestream: https://www.instagram.com/pixar/live/17893208124496908

Looking at the chat for the livestream, there are plenty of different ideas for what this could be for. Some people are guessing that Taylor Swift is voicing a character, others are guessing about album connections, and still others are speculating about her contributing musically to the film. In less than an hour, it is possible there will be an answer. It is also possible that there won’t be.
