Work is underway on Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building. After the shocking ending of Season 5, the podcasting sleuths – Charles, Oliver, and Mabel – find their next case taking them to the United Kingdom. This time, they are investigating the murder of their rival podcaster Cinda Canning. Canning was found dead at the end of Season 5. Unsurprisingly, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are back in their lead roles for the series. Tina Fey is also already known to be returning as Cinda Canning. Production began on the season in the middle of May.
Today, the official social media accounts of Only Murders in the Building revealed some more casting news. This is the first official announcement for Season 6 guest stars. If this season is like previous seasons, it may not be the last. The following talent was announced as joining this next season of the show:

- Simone Ashley
- Amar Chadha-Patel
- Rhea Norwood
- Matthew Beard
- Sharon Horgan
At this point, there is very little known about this sixth season of this popular show. This is also in line with how information was released for previous seasons. A specific release date has not been announced either. Previous seasons were released in late summer or early fall. Most commonly, new seasons arrive in August.
Only Murders in the Building comes from the creative minds of co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
