More news about Only Murders in the Building is coming out daily, it seems. For the second day in a row, the hit Hulu series has revealed more cast members who will be joining Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in the upcoming sixth season. This season will see the trio of podcasting sleuths investigating the death of rival podcaster Cinda Canning, portrayed by Tina Fey. To do this, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel will be making the hop across the pond to the United Kingdom! Yesterday, multiple cast members who will be joining them in the United Kingdom were announced. Today, seven more cast members were added to Season 6.
The new cast members include the following actors:
- Geri Halliwell Horner
- Martin Freeman
- Jamie Demetriou
- Anjana Vasan
- Jane Horrocks
- Derek Jacobi
- Lesley Nicol
While the cast member names were revealed, what their roles are was not. A release date for Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building has also not been released. If previous seasons are to be a guide, the next season will arrive in late summer or early fall. August has been the month that most commonly sees a season premiere for the series. The season is currently in production.
Only Murders in the Building comes from the creative minds of co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
