Just hours after the release of I Love It, I Knew You, by Taylor Swift for the upcoming Toy Story 5, the song has now been released with a music video. The song was kept a secret by Pixar and Taylor Swift’s teams ahead of its reveal earlier this week. This included multiple clues and teases on social media and billboards. The song will be a part of the upcoming film when it releases in theaters on June 19, 2026.
The new music video appears to potentially give away what could be some substantial plot points in the film. It is also quite possible that the scenes used in this music video were chosen for how they could misdirect audiences from what is actually happening in the movie. Either way, there is clearly a lot of work and love given to this collaboration and this film. Check out the music video here.
Toy Story 5 director and screenwriter Andrew Stanton said, “It’s incredible just how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and the immediate way she understood what the character was going through was undeniable. The song is so deeply connected to Toy Story. So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”

To help promote her final concert film and documentary, some of her concert costumes were also put on display in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Following the release of her album The Tortured Poets Department, Pixar released its own artistic renditions of some of her lyrics with Pixar characters. This was also done for her album Midnights.
