Toy Story 5 will be arriving in theaters on June 19th. When it does, fans will get to hear Taylor Swift’s newest song, I Knew It, I Knew You. This song was written by Swift and collaborator Jack Antonoff. The original song was initially released in its fully produced form on June 5th. This is what will be heard in the closing credits of the film. Then, two more versions were released for digital download. Meaning, they could be purchased to listen to. Now, all three versions of this song are available for fans to listen to on music streaming services without additional cost.
Toy Story 5 director and screenwriter Andrew Stanton said, “It’s incredible just how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and the immediate way she understood what the character was going through was undeniable. The song is so deeply connected to Toy Story. So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”

Taylor Swift recently performed this song at the world premiere of Toy Story 5 in Hollywood. During the performance, she also sang You’ve Got a Friend in Me with Randy Newman.
