Disney has added the ability to both the Disneyland app and the My Disney Experience app to be able to save Disney Gift Cards for use directly from the apps. Previously, to use a Disney Gift Card while utilizing one of these apps, they would have to be imported at the time of a purchase. The information would not be saved. This meant that each time a Disney Gift Card was used with one of these apps, the process would have to be repeated.

With the newest update, the saved gift cards can now be selected when using either of these apps. These can be used for select purchases, including mobile orders at restaurants. This is an update that many fans have been yearning for, as they have utilized Disney Gift Cards with these apps. Disney has shown in recent years a commitment to making a better guest experience. They have also been striving to simplify things. These are intentional initiatives that were shared with members of the media earlier this year by now Disney Experiences chairman Thomas Mazloum.

Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro has also shown that making technology a user-friendly tool is important to him as well. The whole company is looking to make things easier for its customers, fans, and guests in an effort to lead to a lifelong relationship between people and the company. Over on the Disney Store app, a new AI Personal Shopping Assistant is being rolled out to make shopping on the Disney Store even easier for Disney fans.

These updates and changes all point towards a consumer experience in the future that is simpler, more fun, and more personal. What do you think about these updates and changes?
