After the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D, many Disney fans hoped that Statler and Waldorf would find a new home somewhere. Many hoped that home would be with the Walt Disney Archives or potentially a remounted Muppet*Vision 3D somewhere else. Today, the new home for the old Muppet hecklers was revealed. Their new home is in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
Once again, Statler and Waldorf find themselves in their traditional role of heckling. They even make use of an old joke from Muppet*Vision as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object or L.I.M.O.s speed on by. The following video was released by Disney showing the duo in their new home doing what they love to do most, heckling.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open to the public on May 26, 2026. When it does, fans will be invited into G-Force Records to go on a tour of the studio, recently taken over by The Muppets. This comes ahead of a big show for The Electric Mayhem. Unfortunately, getting the band to the show proves to be a bit of a challenge for Scooter.
Ahead of the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Disney has shared photos, videos, and information about what guests will experience when the attraction opens. Check out the highlights here:
