A new projection show is being presented in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at night. Called The Curious Child, it is presented following Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga on the spires around the Millennium Falcon in Batuu. This shows Grogu as he tests his power to recall fond memories of his adventures with The Mandalorian.
For the very first performance of this, Jon Favreau, Sigourney Weaver, Pedro Pascal, and Dave Filoni were all on hand to watch. They arrived just before the start of Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, and the crowd in the area went wild. They then watched both projection shows. At the end of The Curious Child, they waved at the fans around them, and Pedro Pascal could be seen holding and kissing a plush Grogu that was lobbed to him from below. Daps Magic was on hand for this special night and moment and caught it all on video. Watch it here:
First The Curious Child Projection Show in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The Curious Child has arrived at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ahead of the arrival of The Mandalorian and Grogu in theaters on May 22, 2026. On this day, the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will also get new adventures and roles for the crew added to it. This promises to add to the adventure in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for fans when they visit and pilot the Millennium Falcon.
The new projection show and updates to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run come after the recent timeline expansion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. This saw more stories added to the land. This also included the addition of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Darth Vader with his Stormtroopers coming to Black Spire Outpost. On top of the updated stories, props, shops, and characters, iconic John Williams’ Star Wars music can also now be heard throughout the land.
