A new musical debuted at Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The show, Sounds of Magic on Rivers of America, brought to life music that could have been heard in shows from days gone by at the Disneyland Resort. Some of these shows were in Disneyland and others in Disney California Adventure. The music during this show came from shows including Beauty and the Beast Live, Animazement – The Musical, Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee, Frozen – Live at the Hyperion, and Tale of the Lion King. The show lasted just under 18 minutes and hyped up the crowd that was watching the performers float around the Rivers of America on a barge. Below is a video of the first performance.

Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

Sounds of Magic was the main performance that was offered at Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites. There was also line dancing with Woody and Jessie in the Golden Horseshoe, a tribute to Videopolis in Tomorrowland, the Tapestry of Happiness at it’s a small world, a Castle Moment, and a big band swinging the night away in the Royal Theater. Throughout the park, there was also a wide range of characters that had been seen at different times through the years at The Happiest Place on Earth.
