Movie Nights at Downtown Disney, presented by Honda, continues this coming Wednesday at 7 pm at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage & Lawn.
This week’s movie is the fan-favorite Halloweentown, which premiered on Disney Channel on October 17, 1998.
Halloweentown is a comedy-adventure that follows Marnie and her younger siblings as they follow their estranged grandmother—a good witch (Debbie Reynolds)—to her home in Halloweentown, where witches, goblins, vampires, and the like lead very normal lives. On her 13th birthday, Marnie learns that she comes from a witch family and that she, too, is a witch. When she discovers that an evil force is plotting to take over Halloweentown, she must help her mother and grandmother save the day.
Movie Nights will continue on Wednesday, October 21 and Wednesday, October 28. The movies are presented on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage lawn on the west end near the main entrance to the Downtown Disney District.
Movie Nights at Downtown Disney are presented by Honda in conjunction with “Huluween” on Disney+, which has escaped and is taking over. Beware! Next thing you know, you might just find your next obsession: a chilling classic, a spine-tingling show, or a horrifying original. Hulu on Disney+ is available with a bundle subscription. Terms apply. Subject to change or cancellation without notice
