This summer, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be returning to Paramount+. An exact date has not been announced yet. However, a trailer has been released for the third season of the Star Trek series that tells the story of the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise under the command of Captain Pike (Anson Mount).

This season will see the series continue to explore different genres. This includes a murder mystery, a rom-com, and a documentary-style episode. Season 3 will see the conclusion of the conflict that the Enterprise was facing with the Gorn at the end of Season 2. Captain Pike will also be exploring new life and civilizations and face off against a villain that promises to test the crew of the Enterprise’s “grit and resolve.” This season continues with its fun twists on classic Star Trek. It will take “characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.”

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 stars nson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn, with guest stars Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Melanie Scrofano and Carol Kane, along with special guest star Paul Wesley.
The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Davy Perez, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers. Akiva Goldsman (Weed Road Pictures) and Henry Alonso Myers (HMRX) serve as co-showrunners.
