Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 Official Description

In season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, under the command of Captain Christopher Pike, confronts increasingly dangerous stakes, explores uncharted territories and encounters new life and civilizations. The crew will also embark on personal journeys that will continue to test their resolve and redefine their destinies. Facing friends and enemies both new and familiar, their adventures will unfold in surprising ways never seen before on any Star Trek series.

As can be seen in the trailer, Beckett Mariner (Tawny Newsome) and Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid) will be making not only a blast into the past from the time when they reside in Star Trek: Lower Decks to that of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, but also from animated form to live-action. This season will see Paul Wesley showing up as James T. Kirk. There also seems to be something going on between Spock and Nurse Chapel (Jess Bush). Finally, Carol Cane’s Chief Engineer Pelia could be heard and seen in action for the first time. Time will tell what everything is when the context for all of the moments seen in the trailer finally is revealed.

The second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be arriving on Paramount+ on June 15, 2023. The entirety of the first season can currently be watched on the streaming service.
