The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds does not have a release date yet. However, the fourth season of the Captain Pike (Anson Mount) crew of the Enterprise series has begun production. What will be happening in this season is mostly unknown due to the third season still not being released.

If things follow the schedule of the previous seasons, it would be unsurprising if filming for season 4 continues into the summer. Presumably, whenever this season arrives on Paramount+, Star Trek fans will see how the current crew of the Enterprise gets closer to that of Star Trek: The Original Series with Captain Kirk under command. The crew has slowly been coming together with Martin Quinn being introduced as Scotty. This adds to characters recognized from The Original Series including Spock (Spock), Nurse Christine Chapel (Jess Bush), and Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding). James T. Kirk (Paul Wesley) is also seen on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds but currently is not a crewmember aboard the Enterprise. Dr. McCoy has not made an appearance yet.
Season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to debut sometime in 2025. It will resolve the cliffhanger ending of the second season and then move the current crew of the Enterprise further into the future. A first look has been shared ahead of the season’s arrival.
