Parkside Market

Pictorial: The Menu and Magic of Parkside Market

Parkside Market soft opened this weekend in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. This new dining destination has four dining establishments located inside of it. This includes:

  • Seoul Sister – a fast-casual modern eatery serving Korean-style rice bowls
  • Sip & Sonder – serving lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and delicious small bites
  • GG’s Chicken Shop – serving chicken sandwiches, salads and classic dinner table sides
  • Vista Parkside Market – second story bar offering great views of the district, signature craft cocktails and mocktails

On the opening day, a friend of Daps Magic Spencer stopped by to check out Parkside Market. Here is a look at the menus for Parkside Market:

Dining

Spencer ordered from GG’s Chicken Shop and was given a buzzer with a number. He then went to find a place to sit and his food was brought to him. This is the same process that happens for Seoul Sister. He enjoyed his chicken sandwich (which he said was one of the best he’s ever had) from GG’s Chicken Shop. He also tried two cake pops from Sip & Sonder and said his favorite was the cookies and cream. Food can also be ordered and delivered when at Vista Parkside Market (the second-floor bar).

Spencer also explored Parkside Market a bit. He discovered a few things. First off, there are unisex restroom stalls on each floor. There is also a very wide elevator (think Pixar Pals Parking Structure but wider!) to bring people up and down as they enjoy Parkside Market.

A Look Around Inside

There are some pretty views inside Parkside Market. It has a really nice vibe that feels modern but hearkens back to another era as well.

Outside Views

The views outside show off Downtown Disney District. They also presumably could be decent for fireworks as well.

Parkside Market is a very welcome addition to Downtown Disney District. It has a nice vibe and the food is excellent. It is also conveniently located near the stage, the parks, and the hotels. This addition will undoubtedly be a fan favorite.

The opening of Parkside Market comes after the recent opening of The D-Lander Shop and Avengers Reserve. Both of these new shops are right next to Parkside Market. The LEGO Store also recently reopened after receiving being refurbished. It is reported that the outside of the LEGO Store will also be getting updated.
