Knott’s Merry Farm is back and sharing holiday magic through January 5, 2025. This merriest of seasons has many different experiences to enjoy during a day on the farm. From entertainment, to snow merchandise, to meeting Santa, to eating (there is a LOT of delicious foods), to shopping, there is more things to do than there is time for. It can be overwhelming trying to plan a day at Knott’s Berry Farm during the holiday season. Below are five can’t-miss experiences that are the Daps Magic team’s favorite this year!
Home for the Holidays
Home for the Holidays is a very classic stage show that is full of Christmas magic. It has some favorite holiday tunes and plenty of song and dance numbers. With no shortage of Christmas cheer, it is a wonderful reminder of how special it is to spend the holidays with friends and family. This show is in the evening and goes perfectly with a cup of hot cocoa!
Snow Moment
The snow that falls in Ghost Town is some of the most magical that can be found anywhere in Southern California. The snow really comes down as Christmas music accompanies it. It is absolutely beautiful and also creates some wonderful photo opportunities!
Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas
Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas is an ice skating show in the Walter Knott Theater. It is full of peanuts, incredible skaters, and Christmas cheer. It also has Linus sharing the story of Christmas, just like in A Charlie Brown Christmas! This is a very popular show and if you want to see it, be sure to show up early! You won’t regret it!
‘Tis the Season Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Christmas tree lighting moment at Knott’s Merry Farm is a beautiful moment. Stop by Calico Park to catch this moment that includes singers and dancers with an appearance by Snoopy before the tree comes to life and lights up the night. One lucky group is also invited to join the moment and participate in the tree lighting as well.
Santa’s Christmas Cabin
Meeting Santa at Knott’s Merry Farm is a magical thing. He is found in the Wilderness Dance Hall throughout the day. The area is called Santa’s Christmas Cabin and it feels just like that. Along with meeting Santa, there are fresh baked chocolate cookies and beverages to be found and enjoyed here as well. There is something for everyone here!
Knott’s Merry Farm really is a special place during the holiday season. It brings the magic of Christmas to life in a way that is full of nostalgia that the whole family will enjoy. Along with everything mentioned above, there are delicious holiday food and beverages offerings, other entertainment offerings, the opportunity to meet with the Peanuts characters, decorations, merchandise, and a whole lot more! It is one of the reasons that upgrading to an Annual Pass is a great idea when visiting Knott’s during this time of year (not to mention Boysenberry Festival is just a few months away!).
