Disneyland Resort has provided more details about the upcoming Season of the Force celebration. This celebration of Star Wars will provide multiple opportunities to enjoy a wide variety of Star Wars experiences. It runs from April 5 through June 2, 2024. One of the experiences will be the Fire of the Rising Moons fireworks experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Fire of the Rising Moons will allow guests to experience Disneyland’s fireworks display in a completely new way from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It will be available on select nights during Season of the Force. The fireworks will be accompanied by Star Wars music, including the iconic scores of the newly announced Disney Legend and legendary composer John Williams. Fire of the Rising Moons will be able to be experienced in multiple locations throughout Batuu including Black Spire Spaceport and the speeder garage. Daps Magic will be checking out the different experiences from different locations throughout the land once Fire of the Rising Moons arrives.
Along with this new fireworks experience, Disneyland Resort also shared about other Star Wars experiences that will be available during Season of the Force. Over in Tomorrowland, there will be new adventures to be experienced on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. This will include new additions from the Disney+ series Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. When guests board their Starspeeder, they will be able to visit Peridea and receive urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin and Grogu, and others. The new additions add to the already numerous variables that can be experienced on the attraction. Disney shared that there are now more than 250 storyline variations for the attractions.
Season of the Force will also have some other fun Star Wars offerings as well. They include:
- Hyperspace Mountain – A Star Wars overlay to Space Mountain
- New merchandise like the Star Tours – The Adventures Continue collection
- Specialty-themed food and beverages and collectible novelties
- A new Holopuck Magic Shot from Disney PhotoPass
Also on select nights during Season of the Force, the Disneyland Resort will be hosting Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. This will be offered on select nights from April 16 through May 9, 2024. Tickets are currently still available for this special after-hours ticketed event.
