Fantasyland Theater Electrified as Choirs and Artists Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland

The Fantasyland Theater was electrified on Saturday as various choirs and artists from around Southern California sang their hearts and souls out throughout the afternoon as a part of Celebrate Gospel. This celebration of gospel music is a part of the Disneyland Resort Black History Month celebrations. It was a day full of incredible music, joy, and hope as singers and those in attendance came together to quite literally celebrate gospel.

Performances began around 2:30 in the afternoon and continued until around 7:00 in the evening. Quite a variety of different groups performed throughout the afternoon. This included different sizes of groups, different ages, and different styles. The groups were woven together by an ensemble of six called Sacred Groove. This colorful group brought their own heart to the performances throughout the day. The following groups and artists performed throughout the course of the day:

  • Rhema House Community Choir
  • Sacred Groove
  • Spirit of David
  • Dr. Quincy D. Fielding Jr. & GRACE
  • The Woods Sisters
  • FReSH Generation
  • Voices of Destiny
  • Greater LA Cathedral Choir
  • Marvin Sapp

Daps Magic was on hand to film throughout the day. Below is a look at the first Celebrate Gospel of 2024 as seen through the camera and video camera lenses. More videos will be added as they are uploaded so check back regularly!
