Legendary comic Eugene Levy has joined the cast of Only Murders in the Building for its fourth season as a series regular. He joins an already great cast that continues to add more star power. For season four, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are being joined by Meryl Streep, Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria as well.
There isn’t anything known about what Eugene Levy’s character will be or do in this fourth season of Only Murders in the Building. In fact, there aren’t many details known about the season in general. What is known is that part of the season will find the trio of main characters making their way to Los Angeles. Presumably they will be returning to New York City and then Arconia to figure out who murdered Charles-Haden Savage’s (Steve Martin) stunt double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch) from his days on Brazzos, which had also recently had a revival.
At the end of season three, Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep) was offered a job in Los Angeles and Mabel Mora’s (Selena Gomez) boyfriend also was heading out West. With Martin Short’s Oliver Putnum dating Durkin, Mabel’s love interest both being in Los Angeles, and Charles at risk of being murdered potentially, Los Angeles might make for a good destination for the trio. What the real reasoning for Los Angeles will be found out when the next season arrives though. How this growing roster of guest stars fits into this equation also remains to be seen.
