On Thursday, Knott’s Berry Farm announced that some of its characters will be taking a break at the end of the month. In a post on social media, Knott’s announced that Boysen, the Pups, and Whittles will all be heading on vacation. The post then encourages guests to get photos with them before January 27th. It also assures fans of these characters that they will be returning later this spring.
The departure of Boysen, the Pups, and Whittles comes as Knott’s Peanuts Celebration arrives. This year’s Peanuts Celebration will include a tribute to Franklin, who also will be appearing in a new special on Apple TV+. The Knott’s Peanuts Celebration will run from January 27 to February 25. There will be plenty of things to experience during this time. This includes:
- Limited-Time-Exhibit About Franklin at Calico’s Town Hall
- It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown
- Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert
- PEANUTS Sketch School
- PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree
- Pigpen’s Pig Pen
There will also be characters to meet, food to enjoy, merchandise, and more!
