There have been many magical moments that I have experienced through the years, first as an Annual Passholder and then as a Magic Key holder, at Disneyland. One that always seems to pop up and bring and make me smile was a day when Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs enjoyed a day together at Disneyland
The day was June 28, 2018. On this day, Snow White led all of the dwarfs around Disneyland throughout the day (I believe). I encountered this happy group while walking along Matterhorn Way and then followed them up to the Fantasyland Theatre entrance. Once at the theatre, Snow White introduced all of her dwarfs. As she did, she also interacted with the crowd that gathered and watched. After some cute moments of storytelling, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs all posed for a picture together. Sadly, I had a zoom lens on my camera that day so I couldn’t get the whole group. However, the memory of that day has continued to live on five years later as one of my favorite moments with Disney characters. Part of the experience can be seen in the video below.
Part of the reason it was so magical is seeing Snow White and all of the Seven Dwarfs really doesn’t happen on a regular day at Disneyland that often. Generally, to get a photo with the whole group one has to go to a special hard-ticketed event. As I’m writing this, the main place I feel like this group can be seen is at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom during the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. People wait for a VERY long time to see this group. In the case of this magical day at Disneyland, they just walked up and people could just see them without waiting. It really was special! I truly hope that more moments like that happen in the future!
