A new nighttime offering is coming to the Disneyland Resort in the near future. Currently, Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band can be seen jazzing up the Rivers of America on select evenings. Soon, a new offering will be bringing new magic to the Rivers of America.
The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A Living Mural will be arriving on th Rivers of America on September 29, 2023. This is a new limited-time entertainment offering at Disneyland. It will have a “dynamic jazz score, projections on the Rivers of America will tell a short, whimsical tale of a mischievous little frog from the bayou that leaps into the lively heartbeat of New Orleans when he is lured by the jazzy sounds he hears in the distance.” The living mural will animated animated some original artwork created by Disney Live Entertainment graphic designer Marcella “Marci” Swett. Swett previously created chalk art for Downtown Disney District during Celebrate Soulfully.
The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A Living Mural and also Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band will be brining their magic to the Rivers of America on select evenings this fall. During the holiday season, they will run nightly. As always, check either the Disneyland App or Disneyland.com for specific showtimes on any given day.
The announcement of this new entertainment offering comes on the day that Tiana’a Palace opened in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. The opening day found the location to be quite popular as guests all made their way to New Orleans Square to try out the Disneyland Resort’s newest dining establishment.
