The Disneyland Resort is hosting the world premiere of the Haunted Mansion movie. The film which brings to life the iconic attraction of the same name is set to be released into theaters on July 28, 2023. To celebrate the world premiere, special guests including cast members from different iterations of the Haunted Mansion from around the globe will be in attendance. The world premiere of Haunted Mansion will also have D23 members in attendance.
Earlier in the day before the world premiere began, elements from the celebration could be seen in the parks. As guests were entering the park, they were handed a postcard and treats just inside the Main Gate of Disneyland.
Over at the Haunted Mansion, red carpet could be found laid out in New Orleans Square. This is where the red carpet portion of the premiere will happen before the screening. The Haunted Mansion itself is closing at 3:00 PM in preparation for the evening’s event.
At Disney California Adventure, a new marquee on the Hyperion Theater could be seen promoting the movie ahead of the world premiere screening later in the evening. Rogers: The Musical artwork could be seen in other places outside of the Hyperion Theater. The world premiere screening of Haunted Mansion will be taking place at the theater.
Haunted Mansion will be arriving in theaters on July 28, 2023.

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.
Directed by Justin Simien, the film features an all-star cast ensemble cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon and Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.
The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.
