5 Highlights of Pride Month at Disneyland Paris

Pride Month is wrapping up and Disneyland Paris celebrated the month in grand style. As the month comes to an end, Disneyland Paris shared five highlights of the month from across the different parts of Disneyland Paris. Check out the top 5 highlights of Pride Month at Disneyland Paris below.

1. Mickey Mouse in Pride colors at the Disneyland Park entrance

Our Horticulture teams transformed the Mickey Mouse flowerbed in Fantasia Gardens to include eleven colors of the Pride flag. More than 4,500 flowers were planted in a single night for the occasion!

2. Disneyland Paris Pride privatized evening in Walt Disney Studios Park

The third edition of the Disneyland Paris Pride event at Walt Disney Studios Park on June 17 was a highlight of Pride Month! With family or friends, members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies enjoyed Disney’s Thousand Color Pride Parade, a live concert, attractions open all night, and meet-and-greets and selfies with Disney and Pixar Characters. Exclusive merchandise was available for guests to take home a unique souvenir, including a playful popcorn bucket and a T-shirt in the event colors. Gourmet treats added sweet delight, from rainbow muffins to ice cream created just for the occasion.

3. Entertainment in Disneyland Park and Disney Village

Our Pride Month celebration took place across the resort! On June 17, dancers and Disney Characters in colorful costumes surprised guests on Main Street, U.S.A. with a special pre-parade before Disney Stars on Parade. Disney Village also had live music at Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, a DJ Party and face painting booths.

4. Disney Pride Conference exclusively for Cast Members

On June 16, Cast Members were invited to the Disney Newport Bay Club for an exclusive event with keynote presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions on themes as varied as how the LGBTQIA+ community engages on social media, its representation in video games and the 2024 Olympic Games as a driving force for inclusion. This engaging day with Cast Members, including the Disney PRIDE business employee resource group, associations and members of the LGBTQIA+ community was an opportunity for everyone to listen and learn about how to create an inclusive environment for all.

5. Disney Pride merchandise in Disneyland Paris stores

Guests were invited to express their pride in style through select Disney Pride items available this month in Les Légendes d’HollywoodWorld of Disney and Emporium stores. The full Disney Pride Collection is available on shopDisney.com, created by members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
