Disney is celebrating Halfway to Halloween! For this celebration it is announcing many of this year’s Halloween festivities. This includes the return of Oogie Boogie Bash to the Disneyland Resort and also Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to The Walt Disney World Resort. Below is a look at the different things that Disney will be offering for Halloween around the globe!
Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort
Once again, Mr. Oogie Boogie and a clan of cadaverous characters are taking over Disney California Adventure! On select nights this fall, guests can do their favorite costume for a fun time at this separately ticketed, limited-capacity, after-hours event at Disney California Adventure Park. More details on this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash will be announced later this summer.
Also at the Disneyland Resort, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be donning new Halloween costumes this year. The costumes will be made of luminescent sheer fabrics that to give a ghostly glow.
For those who are getting a sweet tooth because of Halfway to Halloween, there are sweet treats to be enjoyed! The following can be found around the Disneyland Resort:
- Minnie Witch Apple: Granny Smith Apple dipped in caramel with marshmallow ears enrobed in milk chocolate and dipped in white chocolate and orange M&M’S placed all over and rolled in purple sugar
- Oogie Boogie Crisped Rice Treat: Oogie Boogie-shaped crisped rice treat dipped in green, white chocolate with a black dark chocolate face
- Jack Skellington Cake Pop: Vanilla cake pop dipped in white chocolate with a black dark chocolate face
All of these treats are available through April 23 at Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen, Pooh Corner, Trolley Treats, Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, and Marceline’s Confectionery.
Downtown Disney District also has some sweet treats available right now! This includes:
- Halloween Churro: Churro rolled in cinnamon sugar, drizzled with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, topped with peanut butter candy pieces. Available at California Churro through April 23.
- Halloween Jack-O-lantern Macaron: Orange Jack-O-Lantern macaron with fruit-flavored crisped rice cereal buttercream filling. Available at Kayla’s Cake through April 23.
Also in Downtown Disney at Lovepop, there are “Nightmare Before Christmas” or “Hocus Pocus” bouquets to be found year-round to celebrate Halloween at any time.
Return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort
This fan-favorite event returns to Magic Kingdom Park this fall, complete with spellbinding entertainment and favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be at Magic Kingdom Park select nights August 11 – November 1. Tickets go on sale starting May 2.
Halloween on the High Seas Returns to Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line guests sailing during the specially themed Halloween on the High Seas cruises will be treated to eerie-sistable costumes to gourd-geous decorations fleet-wide as these themed sailings return this September.
Halloween Festivities Return to International Disney Parks
The spooky season is in full swing across the ghoul-obe with the return of Halloween events.
Disneyland Paris Halloween festivities return October 1 – November 5 with the daily Halloween cavalcade at Disneyland Park and more.
At Hong Kong Disneyland, Halloween season returns September 15 with eerie entertainment, including the popular Let’s Get Wicked show and brand-new merch.
At Tokyo Disney Resort, the return of “Disney Halloween” from September 15 – October 31 brings festive parades, mystical merch and more.
Shanghai Disney Resort will celebrate the Halloween season with the return of special food items, pumpkin decorations and more.
