Welcome to another weekly edition of the DISNEY Reporter. This week there is a lot to cover in the realm of Disney and geek news.

In parks news, things start off with last weekend’s incident with the Disney Skyliner at the Walt Disney World Resort. Over at the Disneyland Resort, a new pilot program is being tested for the FastPass system in Tomorrowland.  More tickets have been released for this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure. Mickey’s Toontown also saw the removal of its hills this weekend as work begins on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Disneyland’s Candlelight Ceremony now has dates for this year’s Christmas storytelling event. Over at Tokyo Disney Resort, the parks have been closed due to a typhoon.

In movie news, two new trailers were released this week. The first was for Disney-Pixar’s Onward. The second was for Disney’s Jungle Cruise. Finally, Robert Forster who starred as Captain Holland in Disney’s The Black Hole has died at the age of 78.
