This weekend, guests who were visiting EPCOT for its 40th anniversary were greeted with classic Epcot Center music from the past. Instead of the normal loop that has been playing as guests walk up to Spaceship Earth from the entrance, music that hearkens back to days gone by in this space was played in the area. The playlist is a little over a half hour long and the Daps Magic team sat there and filmed it for you to enjoy.
There are two versions of the classic area music. The daytime plays straight through as the day goes by. At night, the playlist includes Beacons of Magic show moments. This includes the two special ones that were presented this weekend: Be Our Guest and EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary Beacon of Magic.
EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary was on October 1, 2022. The day included a ceremony at 11:00 AM, a special D23 event, Merchandise (with long lines throughout the day), food, banners, and the special Beacon of Magic. It also included this very special area music. We hope you enjoy watching and listening to it as much as we enjoyed capturing it!
