Daps Magic will continue to monitor Hurricane Ian and the impact it has on Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, the hurricane has strengthened to be a Category 2 storm. It is expected to move over Cuba on Tuesday morning as a Category 3 storm and then become a Category 4. Most projections now currently have the storm hitting the Tampa Bay region as soon as Wednesday, depending on how fast the storm moves. There is a very real possibility that it will slow down as the week progresses.

For those that are visiting Walt Disney World Resort this week, continue to watch Daps Magic, disneyworld.com/weather, and the Walt Disney World social media channels for more updates. As conditions evolve, this could lead to more cancellations, closures, or other modifications for operations at Walt Disney World Resort.
