Terminal C Walt Disney World Store Now Open at Orlando International Airport

The new Walt Disney World Store in Terminal C at Orlando International Airport is now open. Cast members came together this last week for a celebration of the grand opening. The opening celebration included a lot of happy moments including the traditional ribbon cutting. This marked a culmination of months of hard work for cast members working to bring this store to life. “I can’t wait to see all the amazing and magical things our cast are going to make happen in this beautiful new space,” said Rachel Swears, GM of Merchandise.

During the first phase of the opening of Terminal C, the state-of-the-art space will mainly be hosting international flights. “This terminal represents international guests coming back to Walt Disney World and this location is the perfect spot to welcome them back to our Central Florida community and the Disney magic,” said Matt Simon, VP of Disney Springs.

The new Walt Disney World Store has a stunning 3D display on its front. This showcases favorite Disney characters and attractions. Inside, guests will find a sculpted castle in the center atrium. There are also four park icons found decorating the upper ceiling. Magical walls also light up the store to provide a magical atmosphere for shopping for souvenirs and other items. This includes merchandise for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

“You are going to be the cast members that our guests are going to see for the very first or last time on their vacation,” said Walt Disney World Ambassador Ali Manion to the opening cast. “I want to thank you for the magic you make every day and hope that you never underestimate the impact you have.”

This new Walt Disney World Store is now open and ready to welcome guests as they arrive in Florida or say goodbye as they depart. Stop by and check it out the next time you are traveling through Orlando International Airport!
