Marvel Studios’ movie that will kick off Phase 6 has found its writers. Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer will be writing the script for Fantastic Four. The duo has been working with Kevin Feige for some time and now will be working with director Matt Shakman on the script for this film. Deadline is reporting that the duo was working with Feige on the story before Shakman had been hired.
The next step for the film will be Kaplan, Springer, and Shakman coming together to get their vision together for the film before the writing duo begins to write the actual script. As the script is being written, Feige and Shakman will get to work on casting the film. If all goes as planned, Fantastic Four will arrive in theaters on November 8, 2024. It will then be followed by two Avengers movies: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will arrive on May 2, 2015, and Avengers: Secret Wars coming six months later.
At this point, there is not much known about this movie. John Krasinski portrayed Reed Richards in an alternative timeline in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This movie will be the first time movie for the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Earth-616, the main Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. It is unknown if Krasinski will be portraying the role again.
