Day One of the D23 Expo was a very busy day. There were panels of all sizes to be found on different stages and also at different pavilions throughout the expo. The day began with an opening ceremony that was a part of the Disney Legends Ceremony. During this ceremony, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced some details about the upcoming centennial celebration for The Walt Disney Company, called Disney 100. He also announced a new attraction for Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. Then the panel turned to the new class of Disney Legends.
The other big panel of the day was for the Disney and Pixar movies. This led to multiple trailers being chosen, casting news, and more! Some of the highlights from the panel included:
