The medals for the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend have been revealed. The event, which takes place from November 3 – 6, 2022 is an annual tradition for many runDisney runners. This year it will also be taking place in the continued 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. Below is a look at the medals participants will receive in November during the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
2022 Disney Wine & Dine 5K
The medal for the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine 5K is inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Coco. This race will celebrate the inspiration that comes from the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT as they participate as a familia in the 3.1-mile course.
2022 Disney Wine & Dine 10K
The medal for the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine 10K is inspired by Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon. The 6.2-mile course takes inspiration from the music, stories, and magic of Southeast Asia that can be found throughout the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon
The theme of the medal for the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon takes inspiration from Disney and Pixar’s Soul along with The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure exhibit at the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT. Guests will race the 13.1-mile course while celebrating the music and magic of the American tapestry.
2022 Disney Two Course Challenge
The Genie from Disney’s Aladdin provides the inspiration for the 2022 Disney Two Course Challenge. This challenge brings together the international cultures of World Showcase in a universal celebration of the human spirit. This medal has a locket design that unveils the Genie inside when opened. Guests receive this after completing 19.3 miles with the 10k and the half marathon.
There is also the opportunity to run virtually from home. The 2022 Virtual Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend allows runners to participate from home ranging from 3.1 to 19.3 miles.
There is also the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Post-Race Party that runDisney racers won’t want to miss! This party includes access to EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Global Marketplaces and select EPCOT attractions along with exclusive party-specific entertainment.
