Sweethearts’ Nite is back at the Disneyland Resort. This hard-ticketed Disneyland After Dark event celebrates the many couples and love stories found in various Disney movies. The first Sweethearts’ Nite was on February 1, 2022, and guests could definitely feel the love as they made their way around Disneyland.
The event officially began at 8:00 and continued until the clock struck twelve. Throughout the park, guests could get their photos taken in multiple photo locations, see some of their favorite Disney couples to get pictures taken with them, enjoy live music, eat specialty food, experience attractions with shorter wait times, and enjoy the special projections found on Main Street, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and it’s a small world. All of this was coupled with a musical playlist of Disney love songs that was piped throughout the park. Magic Key holders could also get a special valentine that was created specifically for them.

In fact, there was so much magic it was impossible to experience it all! Even with the DAPS MAGIC team dividing and conquering, it was impossible to get coverage of EVERYTHING. With that in mind, if you go to a Disneyland After Dark event, make sure and prioritize and strategize your event experience. Go into the event knowing you won’t be able to experience everything and choose what exactly you want to experience. Pick what you want to do the most and then work your way down your list. After that, don’t worry about what isn’t experienced and focus on the fun things you enjoyed! There is a lot of magic to be enjoyed at a Disneyland After Dark event, Sweethearts’ Nite is no exception. Enjoy experiencing the magic and then treasure the memories!
