An annual tradition is returning to the Disneyland Resort. The OC Register is reporting that Grad Nite will be returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2022. This annual tradition for high school seniors has been on hiatus for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2022, there will be 16 dates that will be offered for seniors to experience Grad Nite in the months of May and June.
For 2022, Grad Nite will be offered on May 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, and 31. It will also be offered on June 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 17. As has been the case in recent years, the Grad Nite celebrations will be taking place in Disney California Adventure. Seniors will be able to experience the event from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM. While there, seniors will also be able to get their photos taken with Disney characters dressed in their graduation gear. There will also be themed food and drinks.
Seniors who want to attend Grad Nite will choose from three options. They can pick one of the following options:
- Grad Nite Private Party – $87
- Grad Nite Private Party with Disney California Adventure Admission – $119
- Grad Nite Private Party with Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Admission – $179

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort on days that Grad Nite events take place can expect to see many students enjoying the parks. Generally, seniors will be found filling Disney California Adventure with quite a few also in Disneyland as well. Disney California Adventure will also close on those days at 9:00 PM.
During this time of year, there are often students coming to the Disneyland Resort to celebrate graduations, the end of the school year, and the beginning of summer in general. Often students can also be seen in Downtown Disney before heading to both spring and end-of-year dances as well.
