Life Day celebrates the values and tenets of Wookie culture that include family, joy, and harmony. Celebrations usually would include a feast and then a journey to the Tree of Life. Following the fall of the Galactic Empire, the celebration spread throughout the galaxy. According to The Traveler’s Guide to Batuu, Batuu is also known to celebrate the holiday with festive decor and also a gathering around the Black Spire to sing songs at the end of the day, along with spreading some good cheer.

On Batuu this year, the celebration will include some new menu offerings that now can be found on the Disneyland website. There will be specialty items available at Oga’s Cantina, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and Kat Saka’s Kettle.
