At Destination D23 this last weekend, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared about some of the exciting things coming to the Disney Parks around the globe. Over at Disneyland Paris, there are two milestones coming in the next year. In 2022 Disneyland Paris will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. It will also be opening its version of Avengers Campus.
Disneyland Paris will begin celebrating its 30th Anniversary on March 6, 2022. For this celebration, Disney promises that the magic will shine brightly! This will be done in several ways D’Amaro shared.
First off, concept art was shared for what Main Street, USA will look like during the 30th Anniversary.
Mickey Mouse and many other Disney characters will also be getting dressed up for the celebration.
A new limited-time show will be presented in the Hub with the recently refurbished Sleeping Beauty Castle as the backdrop.
It was also announced that some favorite entertainment offerings will be returning. This includes Disney Stars on Parade and also Disney Illuminations. Both will return in time for the anniversary.
Avengers Campus will also be opening in Summer 2022 at Walt Disney Studios. Josh D’Amaro confirmed that this opening will be included as a part of the celebrations of the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris. He also gave an updated look at the progress being made on the new land.
