Last year, the Incredible Hulk stopped by Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. This year, the massive character is headed to Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris. Today during a presentation at SXSW, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared the news. At this time, exactly when this will be has not been announced.
The Incredible Hulk that will be visiting Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris was first introduced during the 2022 D23 Expo during A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products panel with Josh D’Amaro. During this first introduction, he appeared on stage in his Quantum Suit. He would be wearing this suit later in the fall when he arrived at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. He will also be donning the outfit for his visit to France as well.
When Imagineers were creating the prototype for the Incredible Hulk, they borrowed design features from the anatomy of an ostrich for inspiration for creating the legs of his unique exoskeleton. The arrival of Incredible Hulk at Disneyland Paris was one of many reveals made today at SWSX by D’Amaro. A new prototype robot was also revealed that can fall down, get back up, and even do a somersault. The facial features for the robot were very reminiscent of Judy Hopps from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia.
