The world premiere of Disney’s Jungle Cruise began tonight at The World Famous Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. Guests waited throughout the day in Adventureland with the hopes of seeing stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. They were not disappointed when in the evening the duo arrived for the world premiere aboard a Jungle Cruise boat after having taken a ride through the jungle.
Once off the attraction, Johnson and Blunt were greeted by cheers and screams from guests and Jungle Cruise skippers alike. They spent several minutes taking pictures, selfies, and enjoying the energy of this moment. Below is a video of their arrival in Adventureland at the beginning of the evening’s events. Following their arrival, the stars and other special guests made their way via a red carpet to the Fantasyland Theatre to view the movie.

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. The producers are John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment; Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions; and Beau Flynn of Flynn Picture Co., with Scott Sheldon and Doug Merrifield serving as executive producers. The story is by John Norville & Josh Goldstein and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa, and the screenplay is by Michael Green and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa.
