Walt Disney World Resort Updating Face Covering Policy

Walt Disney World Resort is updating its face-covering policy starting July 30th. This comes after the CDC updated its guidelines this week. Starting on July 30th, Walt Disney World’s new face-covering policy will be as follows:

Beginning July 30, face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) while indoors and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status. This includes upon entering and throughout all attractions. Face coverings remain optional for all Guests in outdoor common areas.

The updated policy comes as COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the United States of America. Until July 30th, the face-covering policy will remain the same as it is currently at Walt Disney World Resort. At this time the change does not impact outdoor locations.

DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available. What do you think of this update to the face-covering policy at Walt Disney World Resort? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
