This summer fans of The Lion King will want to be a part of the Hakuna Matata! runDisney Virtual Series. This series will also be celebrating six years of runDisney Virtual Series. The series will include three different 5ks.
The Lion King first came to theaters in 1994. Since then Simba and company have been found on Broadway, in theme parks, and even re-imagined to introduce this Disney classic to a whole new generation of fans.
For this series, Disney has shared a look at all three runDisney Virtual 5Ks and the runDisney Virtual Challenge. Take a look at them below:

runDisney Virtual Series Challenge
Seeing that is event is virtual, this can be done on your own timeline. Registration also includes a downloadable themed bib and also an at-home kit that includes a start line, finish line, and even mile markers. Each of the three 5Ks features its own medal inspired by a version of The Lion King. Want to go even further? Sign up for the runDisney Virtual Challenge that includes all three 5Ks and you will also get a fourth medal for completing the virtual challenge. Registration opens Thursday, April 8 at 10 am ET for all of these runDisney Virtual Series events on runDisney.com.
