Progress Continues On Star Wars Trading Post Ahead of February 19th Opening at the Downtown Disney District

Progress continues to be made on the new Star Wars Trading Post ahead of its Downtown Disney District opening on February 19th. This week, more camouflage, satellite dishes, and other equipment appeared on what was formerly the Rainforest Cafe. Rey’s speeder also was placed out in front of the post this week.

Star Wars Trading Post brings to life a hidden jungle Resistance Base right in the middle of the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. With Rey’s speeder out front, it is the entrance to a galaxy far, far away right here in a galaxy that is quite close. In Star Wars Trading Post guests will be able to find merchandise from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and beyond.

Stay tuned to DAPS MAGIC for future updates about Star Wars Trading Post’s opening and preview for Legacy Passholders. There should be more details released on February 9th. What do you think of the new Star Wars Trading Post? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
