Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light is currently being tested as part of the phased reopening of Shanghai Disneyland. The firework spectacular originally opened in 2016 with the opening of the park. It closed with the park earlier this year due to COVID-19. It was not being presented when Shanghai Disneyland initially began its phased reopening. However, now it is being tested at 9:00 PM as conditions allow. Changes could also be made to help create a safe experience during this time of adjustment.
According to the page dedicated to the show on the Shanghai Disneyland website, the show lasts approximately 15 minutes. Here is the statement on the trial for the show during phased reopening:
Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light is currently in trial operations. During this period we may make operational adjustments, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
