Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Now Open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

This morning Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new land will allow guests to live their Star Wars adventure as they fly the Millennium Falcon, relax at Oga’s Cantina, shop in the local market, or enjoy a meal at Docking Bay 7. Guests will also have the opportunity to be a part of their own Star Wars story by aligning themselves with either the Resistance of the First Order. Both are looking for help since coming to Batuu and more specifically, Black Spire Outpost.

Fans were lined up before the crack of dawn this morning to be the first to visit Batuu in Florida. The excitement was electric as they were led to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge before the sun rose. Soon, they were experiencing Star Wars like never before!

Over in California, Disneyland Resort President Josh D’Amaro and some cast members sent well wishes to their counterparts on the opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. All of this comes a day after the new land was dedicated by Disney Chairman of Parks, Products and Experiences Bob Chapek.
