Galactic Goodbyes – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week we share all the top Disney and geek headlines. This week, there were a lot of goodbyes to be had. Star Wars: Episode IX wrapped shooting and the cast said goodbye to the end of an era of bringing Star Wars back to the silver screen. In sadder news, DISNEY Reporter shares about the deaths of Ron Miller and Dave Smith. Both icons for The Walt Disney Company who helped continue and ensure its legacy.

In Disneyland Resort news, World of Color is making its return at the end of February. Also, Pop Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration will be arriving in Downtown Disney. It was also a very wet Valentine’s Day at the Disneyland Resort. DAPS MAGIC was on hand to capture video and photos of the day.

In Disney movie news, the first look at Will Smith as a very blue genie arrived this week. Frozen 2 also released its first trailer, along with photos and a poster.
