Sweet Night

A Sweet Night at Disneyland After Dark Sweethearts’ Nite – DAPS Vlog

Romance is in the air! ‘Tis the season for candies, flowers, and rare Disney couples to make their way out to the parks! Last night marked the first Disneyland After Dark event of the year and this was full of sweet surprises! We’re excited to share all of them with you in the DAPS Vlog!

Entertainment

The entertainment was a major win of the event. From The Royal Princess Ball in Fantasyland to the steel drum band at Tropical Hideaway, everything felt like it was in the perfect place! One of our favorites was definitely the moonlight cruise on the Mark Twain! Having a jazz band on the bow of the ship was the perfect way to make our cold night seem red hot! It was definitely one of our favorite moments of the night.

Photo Opportunities

Of course, with any special event comes plenty of photo locations! Though there were many to see across the park, we hit two during our night at Disneyland! The Up house in Frontierland was a fun little backdrop that put you and your sweetheart in front of Carl and Ellie’s house, right alongside their mailbox! My personal favorite location was the Tangled photo op in Fantasyland. This seemed to be a popular opinion, as we waited roughly an hour and a half for this spot (and that was the short line!) This spot was decked out with floating lanterns that would make the lost princess herself feel proud! Overall, It was fun to look around as the night went on to see guests taking advantage of the sweet pictures!

Characters

It’s no secret that Disney couples love to visit the parks on their date nights! Sweethearts’ Nite was no exception! Some of the most exciting pairings to see were Hercules and Megara from Hercules and Milo and Kida from Atlantis! Of course, these are characters that don’t journey out of their stories too often, so it was a pleasure to see them in person! This was definitely one of our favorite parts of the night! (Keep your eyes peeled for a special DAPS Team cameo with Milo and Kida!)
